This week is Brain Awareness Week, and we're paying special attention to our brain.

Yesterday, we got a group of people to jump into the Pacific at 7AM.

Cold water exposure spikes dopamine by up to 250%, making it one of the more underrated things you can do for your brain. But, honestly, what stayed with us was the people. A group who chose a cold ocean over a warm bed on a Monday morning.

That is Brain Awareness Week to us. A community deciding that the brain deserves more than it usually gets.

And it turns out, community matters more than most people realize. The 2024 Lancet Commission found that nearly half of all dementia cases could be prevented and staying connected to people is one of the 14 ways to get there. The choices you make right now are shaping the brain you'll have at 70. We have two more events this week to take action towards your brain health.

Wednesday evening, we're sitting down with Keith Murphy, Co-founder and CTO of Attune Neurosciences. And, this Friday, we're launching something new. Brain Workouts. A space to actually train your brain, not just read about it.

We’d love to see you there!
